Thanks for the video. I am an old bloke now and have only evere WALKED in the Lake District since the age of 5, last went there when I was 55. I always wanted to do the sort of scramble shown in the video but never had the wotsits but I 'was there with you' as you did that. Thanks again for that feeling.

I would never have scrambled TR. Had it not been for this video. So thanks again, I was under a different yt name back then, but it's good to watch this again!.
When i ascended, didn't have my glasses, set gopro to... well, I ended up with 8, 888 still pictures 🤔😂
I would like to do Tower Ridge one more time, and this video is a great aid for anyone researching the route. Big Up Damon!

thanks for sharing your recording. Did this in 1993 when i was 22 with 2 rock climbing friends. Now i see very clearly see why i was feeling so scared, esp doing great tower. only place i felt ok was in the enclosed section after the eastern traverse. thankfully i was roped up for scariest sections. well done soloing it! now feeling nauseous just watching it, lol.

I have watched about 20 odd videos of Everest and K2 disasters, this made me shiver the most, you climbers are as crazy as a bag of snakes but you have my total respect.Good luck.

Good scramble: I only did it once, in deep winter, and it looks much less serious in July!

Inspiring video, so wanting to do this now, I was always too worried about needing rope experience, I am a pretty experienced scrambler and always careful but never had rope training, if conditions were good I would defo give this a go now, thanks for posting!

Went to do this a few days ago for the first time. Going into gully east side, just as we got to the hut it started raining, made everything like wet glass so I bottled it had to sacrifice a chock and a couple of wire gate carabiners to get down safely.  It was the only day I had the chance to do it because my dog was booked into a kennels at Highbridge, had to commit to that day before the kennel places were fully booked, gutted, maybe next time if I get a dry day,  It's scary when it's wet
