Alan climbing Tower Ridge 5th May 2017 (HD 1080)

Alan only took up climbing in his early sixties and ten years later Fi and I took him on what turned out to be his first ascent of Ben Nevis. It wasn't by the tourist path either but by Tower Ridge which with the blues skies, sun and hard icy snow on the upper section, was truly alpine in character, scale and length of the day!
