So that's it. After a long game of wits, the Giantslayer finally manages to (probably fatally) wound The Giant, and as his blood runs out, he stumbles across his home, noticing he doesn't have much time left in this world. He looks at the graves of his people and his family as his vision starts to drift, trying to keep himself awake and having to make a decision: should he face his final moments peacefully or should he lash out, kill the Giantslayer? In his final moments it all surges back to him, all that he's lost (notice that this track has a repetition of the leitmotif featured in "Even a Giant Cries") and he is stuck in this choice. Whether to spend his final moments thinking of his family and happiness or about his enemy and vengeance. The doubt wounds him more than any blade as he drifts in and out of consciousness, needing to make a choice...

But Zack Hemsey's does not wound. It heals.

After the battle of madness the hunter and the giant fought...the giant took a blow and became wounded...which made the hunter sorrowful...and it made the hunter try his best to help the giant recover...

An omnipotent leader and an omnipotent redeemed look over a charred city. The redeemed tries to reach out and comfort the leader. He simply tells her, as he hands her a key, that this timeline ends here. Quiet, he comforts *her*, telling her that this timeline's sacrifice got her the key she now holds. He tells her to flee. To go back to the moment it matters. To undo what has been set in motion; For he has done his part. The last thing she hears him say as she walks away is that for the first time in eternities, looking out at his burning kingdom... *he is afraid...*
