My mom bought me one today, and I definitely love it. As an autistic person, I need to play with stuff or touch things when I'm overwhelmed, so I can feel more safe and calm if I can't control the environment I'm in. My favorite side is the one with the five buttons! I love to make them click over and over and over again. I feel good making things click, it's just great!

It doesn't "prevent" ADHD because, if people are born with ADHD, this gadget will not permanently relieve them of the symptoms. As a person with ADHD-predominantly inattentive type, I can assume this is to help prevent restlessness(one SYMPTOM of ADHD) when people with the disorder are waiting in one place for too long, which is what I deal with some days. I used to chew on my nails and lips and pace about while waiting for a bus that was stuck at a street light two blocks away. Had nothing to do with anxiety. I was just extremely impatient and had nothing to do. Please, do your research, John Graham.

I use these to stop panic attacks and I am not adhd or anything like that just something I still find useful and with this I have seen a tremendous amount of change in my grades and I'm have been getting better grades but ya I also like these better then the spinners because they just distract me
