Originally leakers said that the RTX 4090, 4080, and 4070 would all launch between September and November of 2022, however a new leak is suggesting that while the RTX 4090 will still be launching, the 4080 and 4070 will be delayed until 2023. Also the release dates for Intel's 13th gen Raptor Lake CPUs and AMD's Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 CPUs were leaked, and Intel just showed off a new GPU.

Honestly does anyone really want/need a 400w+ GPU? I think the ball's in AMD's court. Screw Nvidia - let them push back their releases as long as they want. If AMD launches everything this year and get similar performance while using 30%+ less power, seems like Nvidia will be largely irrelevant to me.

I'm going AMD next gen. Excited for their new cards. The 6900XT is no slouch, and really is just missing raytracing boost tech. If the newer 7900(XT) is that much faster with good raytracing tech, I'm all in.

Honestly angry at the title... The RTX 4080 wasn't cancelled like the title implies/says depending on what it says right now. You can't just say "gOoDbYe RtX 4080" and then say, "yea they're on the way, just a little behind schedule"

I'm more excited about what price the rtx 3080 could potentially drop to. I tried to get one in january 2021 but by then the prices were going up fast so i got a 3060 ti for $620. Not a bad deal and it's served me well. Hopefully I can get a 3080 for $500 in a couple of months.

There is no way Nvidia would launch without having a more "reasonably" price card like a 4080 or 4070. Delaying that all the way to 2023, missing holiday season as well and only offer a card that could be $1499 or even higher as the only option.. It's just dumb. I will NEVER EVER EVER buy an Ampere card no matter how much they push to have their stock sold.
People will see the 4090 and want a Lovelace card. They would WAIT. It's that simple.

So why make such a dumb decision. I can't see that happening..

I can see a 4090 and 4080 release and perhaps end of 2022 a 4070. But this all depends on pricing as well. Not even having a single reasonable offer slightly lower end from 4090 would be just plain dumb.

I have zero interests in a base 400W GPU. My OC 3080 FTW already peaks at 380W and dims the lights in my living room. Hard pass for me especially when you look at the rumored specs of the 4080 vs 3080 and bus speed downgrade.
