This is amazing !! Cubase has absolutely the best Midi stuff and fastest composing tools. Cubase's daw mixer is the best, I must say.

Why do most of these DAW videos on YT focus on EDM and pop? Why not show other genres? I see so many talented musicians (that are known in other video demonstrations who clearly can play), but when they get down to “showing” what the DAW can do.., it’s always EDM and pop music. Show what these DAW’s can really do.., plug in a guitar, do a live band recording.., hell do a film score using a proper orchestral VST. The EDM route is getting stale.

I have never used Cubase and I am not well versed in using DAWs generally. But what a brilliant video for a newb like me! You make it look and sound so easy. May i ask if you have authored full courses (paid for or free)? That may swing a purchase decision for what is otherwise quite an expensive product.

I just want to use Cubase Pro 11 as an extension of my Tascam 24 interface mixer. Perform my song vocals while playing my archtop guitar.
Then add my arrangements using Spitfire Audio BBC Symphony Albion One & Abbey Road sampling Libraries.
This is how plan to use Cubase for my Vinyl & cd recordings.
I wish to compose the music i hear inside and allow the music technology to assist my original compositions.

Great video, you clearly love your job fun to watch, i do have a question regarding registering my UR12 Steinberg, as its asking for my serial number i have tried putting n all ther numbers ie poduct#, service#sets from both the box and label on the product but all are invalid, im not sure how important it is to register the device ???
