LG G5 Review : MEH or Masterpiece?!

After one month of use how does the LG G5 compare to similar smartphones. Reviews have been overwhelmingly negative, but I'm not buying it! This is my full review of the LG G5!

I came from a Note 5 over to an LG G5 because we switched carriers and they were buy one get one, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I really do like this phone a lot. the G5 camera, like you mentioned, is sooo freaking sweet with that wide angle. The speaker is way louder than any other phone I've had (I've been a Samsung user for the past 4 or 5 years). Overall this thing is a really solid phone, and I'm curious to see how it will hold up over the next year or so and if they'll come out with any more useful modules.

This phone is getting a lot of flak, but I like using it much more than my GS7 Edge. For one thing, I have to have double-tap-to-wake, for another, the always on display is actually useful on the LG, since it shows 3rd party notifications. It's also a performance beast. Never slows down or lags. LG has really optimized their skin.

Great video review... I've only had my G5 for a few weeks but for me it's a nice device.. That wide angle camera as you say totally transforms a scene, amazing effects that no other device can do without panorama mode. Standby battery is good too..

Just got one: speaker is loud but super distorted. That's so far my biggest complaint. Maybe I just got a lemon speaker. Love the wide angle. Have yet to figure out the tiny tv screen it puts on the bigger display. I always hate changing charging port shapes, but I'll try it. Bought some adapters for my recently new micro usb cables. Thanks for the review.

I never understood why there was so much hate for its screen.. I love it.. The only thing I don't like about this phone is battery life.. Rest this is pure pleasure to use.. And its the size I prefer, not to heavy..

The G5 was buried before it even was truly allowed to strut. Having owned one since day one of release I can honestly say that it's just as compelling as anything currently out there. The modularity is just icing on the cake Imo. The design is subjective of course, but it really does stand out in a good way.

I like this phone, the USB Type-C is enough to preffer it over the S7 for me. That wide angle camera is also beastly, not to mention the removable battery, such an underrated device, it's just sad! I'm debating whether I should get this or an iPhone 6, same $300 price unlocked on eBay. Don't really know what to do.

I really love this phone but I keep hearing it has a bunch of problems, dents in the back, the module not fitting in right. Is this a solid option?I can choose from...  LG G5, Samsung galaxy s6, Moto X, and the  nexus 5x. I have three days to decide, Please help.

I actually feel like the LG G5 is doing not so good with its display when it comes to visibilty outdoors compared to amoled. Altogether a top class smartphone with all the important specs for a really good price and thats why i bought it. Samsung screwed me over with their S3neo when it came to support and they are like apple now taking too much money for their stuff.

But the IPS panel in the sunlight is a downer for me, i tried using a anti reflexion film but i still feel like i could see more easily outdoors with my old s3neo
