If you had your GPT read a PDF to analyze your writing style, how would you instruct it?

Good content. This may be obvious to AI folks, but to non-AI people, there’s a difference between your process and training an LLM. What you described will produce a reasonable simulation of style but will most probably not include quirks specific to a writer. If you trained your own LLM with a lot of content (much more than 300 words) from just one writer, the result would be an accurate simulation - quirks, mistakes and all.

Not that long ago, only AI folks had the knowledge and resources to train their own LLMs, but much has changed. Open-source software is available, GPU prices have dropped, you just need content to train on - and that’s the toughest part right now (ex., NY Times lawsuit).

Doesn't look like this would work for fiction writers who don't have blogs or article sources for the GPT to analyze - possibly excerpts of a work of fiction could be analyzed?

GPT is refusing to show me the full text of the article. It's pointing me out to the link to check for the full article. Is somebody also facing this issue? Did you manage to bypass it?
