15' Apple Retina MacBook Pro w/TouchBar Long Term Review - Is it worth $4000?

Late 2016 15" Retina MacBook Pro is all new. Including a new second screen touch bar replacing the function keys. The new laptop claims to be louder, smaller and more battery efficient. One thing for sure, this computer is expensive. Is it worth the money compared to the previous generation. I bought one to find out and compare with my previous generation 15" Retina screen MacBook Pro

i wanted this mac book pro... until i saw like 30 reviews saying "NOPE DON'T BUY" so maybe ill buy the old one (the 13 inch) cause i travel a lot. also i like your travel reviews just booked the LH 747-400 and watched your video! Great Job on both vids to!

No computer is worth 4000$ IMO. But this is relatively misleading. The machine actually cost 2400$ before applying upgrades, and can easily be found for around 2100-2200.

The sd card slot takes up 5 times its size in the actual computer. People what you said about how it doesn't take up that much space but it actually does

The point I see too few people making about the lack of ports is that indeed this is probably the future but for now Apple could have provided a dongle or two or even a complete hub especially if they are going to price these machines this way.

That new logo is not gonna save any juice tho, because the logo was lit up by the screen backlit. So no extra battery consumed.

I always had dongles, I have dongles for my Imac it only comes with 4 USBs and my 13 inch MBP has 2, so I keep some in my bag and some hanging out of my imac. The removal of the SD card sucks tho but I do like the slimness. I think newer MBP will be even better when done with the growing pains. I remember everybody hating the MacBook Air when it first came out too

So Do you Recommend me to buy the 2015 model? I want to buy a Macbook pro, its going to be my first Apple laptop but not the first time on the Apple eco system. I will use it for Graphic Design work and some video editing.

I don't understand why the touch bar is been so criticized it can be used as normal or be customized to preference add shot cuts changes depending of what your using it has a lot more functionality then the old one that I only used it for volume and brightness seriously why not! I think that is just nick picking! my car have heated chairs and I'm in Florida even if is 2 or 3times a year that is cold how awesome to have it if I need it.
Apple computers last because of the quality materials and craftsmanship the operating system is great and customer service is amazing as well it's obviously going to cost more than must PCs that you will have to replace more often however many Pcs can be as much any way, fortunately they are a lot of cheaper thicker options to choose from if you have different preferences, I really like mine I'm also clear that no product it's perfect
