Good grief, Robbie! You are amazing! I've been watching you for years. You light a fire under me and make me want to grow things. I'm 72, with lots of gardens behind me. I have lots of reasons why I've put gardening behind me, but you make me want to start again with a real hunger to get digging in the dirt . I live in Gallup, NM. I grew up in San Diego. It's almost impossible here, but you sure make me want to try!

I grew up in Orange County California. I miss that I could literally grow plants and propagate almost all year long. 10 years ago met my current partner. He lived in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino county so a bit hotter in summer. Now we retired to high desert 5 years ago and its 105 for more than 3 months in summer and we are getting extra cold in winter. Interestingly some things survive here. Like English lavender, sage types, Rosemary etc. Bulbs but I never remember to buy and plant at correct time. Someone gave me wild Iris. A lot of our 3/4 acre yard is so rocky and calcium. Used the rocks to make a slightly raised bed! Where we tried tomatoes but Im going to try in tubs and trellis them where I need to shade a patio at the side anyway.

I just bought the seeds, Robbie. THANK YOU.
I can't wait to get them first week of June and apply your method of starting them. I will be potting them on in a bottomless pot in a fabric pyramid tower (on a lazy susan) where I have a collard, a borage, a Tiny Tim tomato and a johny jump up. THANK YOU.

I’ve had so much trouble labeling plants and seeds because of fading. Going to try the tape method because my memory just can’t do it. Thanks again. Oh planted 3 different types of cherry tomatoes.🤞
