I think it was Saab heated seats were an extra but if you spent $18 at the parts shop you could buy the switch and replace the switch blank as the wiring was there even the seats had the stuff to support it I think it was a few hundred as an extra even Toyota did it mine doesn't have a dash clock/ambient temp thing but the sensor and wiring is there

Mercedes-Benz is planning to paywall a portion of their new cars' horsepower, so you buy a 300hp benz but if you don't have the premium subscription the car will only run at 220hp, for example. Not sure if it was just a leaked idea or if its going to be a reality
