Flores is one of the lesser-explored islands in Indonesia. Many travelers arrive in Labuan Bajo, and explore Komodo National Park but don't venture further into this beautiful and fascinating part of Indonesia. I can strongly recommend traveling around Flores and discovering its magic.

Together with 3 other travelers and the absolute legend that is Darno, we explored the island on a 7-day itinerary. Traveling from Labuan Bajo all the way to Maumere, more than 500km, from mountain villages to tropical beaches to epic volcanoes. From Wae Rebo to Bajawa, from Koka Beach to Kelimutu.
