The Olivet Discourse, recorded in the synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, represents a crucial eschatological teaching by Jesus. Shared similarities across the Gospel accounts underscore its significance. In Matthew 24, the Discourse is a response to the disciples' query about the temple's destruction, the sign of Christ's coming, and the end of the age.
