As an Aquarius adult I can find commonality in some of these thoughts about Aquarius. However, it is important to note that Aquarius people have a lot of empathy. We are empaths by nature, so we understand and feel other peoples emotions. This does something tricky with a very logical mind; sometimes we are lost in emotion and cry, and sometimes we fight off the emotional outburst and think of the bigger picture. It’s important to understand that all people are complex and oftentimes have an inner struggle with opposites. Logic and emotion are opposite each other. When you combine them they completely take one another out just like opposite colors on the color wheel. This is why no one can really say how a person feels just by knowing their astrology or even their history. People often times react the way we think they will, but sometimes they come to a different conclusion based on outliers and we should be mindful of that. Nothing is set in stone, and many people aren’t who you think they are. You know the old adage, “you can’t judge a book by its cover”, well that applies to how you physically see a person, along with how you view their mental state and how you see them emotionally in the moment vs long term. You cannot simply make a judgement on a person by one moment, otherwise you are ignorant to the possibilities of the person in question. You don’t choose how people act or think and you cannot decide for them based on a chart that hasn’t been proven as valid by any scientific community. If Aquarius people are often viewed as “aloof” or “unemotional” it’s because we prefer to find a solution rather than be bound by emotion on a certain subject matter. If we seem overly obstinate or controlling it’s because we know we are right about something. We always admit our wrongs if we genuinely feel there is a wrong done. We see the bigger picture so you don’t have to and come up with solutions you wouldn’t have within a small timeframe. We are innovative and always looking for a better way to JUST BE. No, we aren’t overly interested in your emotional drama, but we will support people that mean something to us. If you have something to offer to a community, you should be there to bring that to the team. And yea, if you don’t, I don’t have time for you. If you’re overly emotional I won’t want to be around you because you make me feel your emotional distress. We are empathic remember? It’s not that we don’t care, it’s JUST TOO MUCH TO FEEL SOMETIMES. And in no way with everything we have going on in OUR OWN LIVES are we going to just let someone pour all their problems into our empathetic space. That clouds our ability to think properly and move forward. Aquarius people get a bad wrap but you just don’t understand why we don’t want to be emotional with you. When you feel everyone’s emotions you tend to want some space. Just let us be and stop trying to drag us down because you’re butt-hurt you didn’t get what you wanted from us. We don’t get what we want from other signs, BUT YOU DON’T HEAR US COMPLAINING so please just realize we’re only different. That’s it. You don’t have to like our differences but you should understand them.
