In my country 🇦🇷 "old" cars still have carburetors, and most "modern" cars are from the 90s or early 2000s

I recently did a front brake job on a friend's 2006 Prius. I didn't realize at first that the computer needs to be reprogrammed. The replacement of pads and rotors was done properly, but the car was very unsafe to drive afterwards. Braking action was happening only on one side, with the wheel bouncing and skidding combined with terrible stopping distance and control problems. Luckily the computer could be reset without a special scan tool or expensive trip to the dealer. Connect pins 4 and 13 on the OBD port, then press the brake pedal EIGHT times. This makes the computer re-calibrate the brakes. Everything was totally fine after that. Computers are a big problem when they make your car unsafe to drive after routine maintenance!

Obstruct access to spark plugs by running the inlet manifold over them, Hide the Oil dipstick and put no transmission dipstick 😡

There also have plastic intake manifolds instead of aluminum or cast iron.

The no dipstick in the transmission is some shady stuff. They know why they do it really.. only for the "technicians on the stealership" we should really fight that.
