Paulo Freire's Critical Pedagogy

This is a short summary about Paulo Freire and his philosophy of education. He has a critical approach to education, challenging others to address oppression and to participate in the transformation of the world. Speaking against what he calls the "banking model" of education, Freire proposes "problem-posing" education as an alternative. This has three considerations: praxis, dialogue, and conscientization.
