I know this was about a romantic relationship but this really reminded me of my ex bff. I watched her slowly lose herself. I did everything I could but she saw me as a threat and a obstacle to her “happiness”. I have listened to this over and over. It’s amazing but let me tell you why. The song writing is outstanding. It’s very lyrical and emotional. Each line holds significance and paints more of the picture. Very poetic and it’s clear you’re a talented writer. But not only that, your singing voice is beautiful. You have a wide vocal range and that’s hard to do. You convey emotion without is sounding sloppy. Your voice is light but sturdy at the same time. Even the production of the video.
