I forget all the time that I had to spend so much time hiding, not even that long ago too. This made me think of someone I've loved since I was 11. We went through so much having to hide from our parents in high school, and sometimes it was so hard that we just lied to ourselves and tried to change. This song reminded me of that experience and how it's not normal. Thank you for this

Who are you and why are my eyes leaking!? Speaking as a gay guy myself you just don't find music that speaks to being gay in an obvious way that is also really incredibly good. I don't know why thats true it just is and it's always been that way. People, at best, have always had to use metaphor and innuendo in order to really talk about gay issues and this is the first time ive heard a song by anyone that just relates a gay human experience in a simple and brilliant way. I'm usually much more articulate than the word vomit that I just laid at your feet but i'm just so flabbergasted Im surprised im making any sense at all. Thank you!
