San Francisco fan girl loves when you break down and explain things for the common man, cuz sometimes those terms appear quite overwhelming. Gottta do my HIIT now. Thank you, Thomas!

I love Hiit, I did it when I didn't have taekowndo class because of their testing. Now you're influencing me to do it on Good Friday.

The best hiit training I have found is with kettlebell swings, a full body blast.

I do a different form of HIIT… 3 mins on the stair climber at level 10 (no touching, step through heels).. then IMMEDIATELY do 2 mins of level 8 on the treadmill. Go back and forth 3 times each. So, you don’t really get breaks, and you’re no going ALL OUT, but you’re messing with your heart rate and legs for sure 😂. I’m in GREAT shape and I love doing it!

Hiit is definitely worth doing. I had awesome results doing a 30/30. 30 seconds full speed jump rope then rest 30 seconds and did 8 sets. Never looked or felt better. As a matter of fact I got my perfect body from incorporating it.

Hi Thomas! Super informative video as always. 💯 2 Quick questions: 1) After carb loading, how long does it take for the carbs to become available as a fuel source for a HIIT workout? 2) What are your top 3-5 recommended carb sources to fuel a HIIT workout? 🤔 Thank you! 💪🏋️‍♀️💪

Enjoy the fitness info! Can you do a video on Keto/IF and the endurance athlete? Would love to have more info on how to work this lifestyle into my running life.

I don't know about his rocky mountain heart rate graphic--mine's pegged in the 120-130 zone for an hour and a half. When I've caught my breath I'm ready for the next of 17 stations, usually a three-set progressive approach: initial high-rep "warm-up" set, an up-weight "work" set, then an up-weight "challenge" set. If I need to increase the difficulty, I can slow down the movements. 80 minutes and I'm drained...three times a week.
