In this video I show where the trunk area drains are. If you don't keep these cleaned out, you may get water in your trunk. This is for Volvo 850 sedan and maybe 960 & S90 cars.

The tail lights on all 3 of my daily driver Saabs have a foam type gasket around them, at first I thought the drains were plugged so I cleaned them, but it turns out that the seals have dried and are allowing water to pass. I would buy them, but I keep meaning to look for an alternative as the OEM seals are $20 per light and I need FOUR per car! It's just a simple foam that's thin and cut to shape, this video reminded me I really should poke around the internet tonight looking for something to use.

Hey Robert, so did you get a set of swap parts in the junkyard and then buy a complete manual car? I bought a 850 manual and stripped it a while back but I've gotten used to the auto...

Hi Robert,

I've got a '96 850 T and there is a drain at the bottom of the drunk door that has begun to rust. What should I do to clean that out?

Would this be the cause of water under the back seat and on the floorboards? I'm working on an 850 and I know those trunk drains are plugged shut. Any other drains on these cars? Sunroof, etc?
