Feather Game Changer Fly Pattern (Fly Tying Tutorial)

Показать описание

The Feather Game Changer is an articulated fly pattern that lands gently to avoid frightening fish, but still moves enough water to catch the predator's eye.

Imagine a fly that perfectly mimics a baitfish in your surrounding waters, not only in appearance but by swimming like a real fish and provoking a predatory reflex inside your target species... but you can still cast it with a 4wt to 6wt fly rod.

I really love this pattern and I have tons of brama hen laying around. I have an idea for the head. Tie the bead back about 3 or 4 mm from the eye and put a wrap of feathers in front of it to prop them up. What do you think?

I see most folks talk about using soft hackle feathers. Wouldn't you be better off using rooster feathers? New to this. Serious question

Would this work with other feathers? Or do you recommend strictly using the India Hen Back? Hard stuff to find!
