Thread: White 3/0 or 6/0
Hook: Gamakatsu B10s size 2 or 4
Tail: Pearl Filler Flash, Folding Palmering Chenille, or Flashabou or similar and long white hen hackle or schlappen
Body segments: Pearl filler flash (or Ice Chenille) and white hen saddle
Hook dressing: White schlappen plus a few turns of red hen saddle or schlappen in the middle and filler flash

Note: This is a great fly for any fish that eats other fish, from trout to tarpon. The action is unsurpassed, and you get a long fly without a lot of bulk or weight. This is not a pattern to copy exactly. It’s a style of tying developed by Blane Chocklett and you can use any color combination you like, with or without the Filler Flash.
