Unboxing a HUGE KEY COMIC I needed for the PC - Discussing the Comic Book Market Dip

In this video I show you guys my new pick up that I needed for my Avengers Grail Run and that of course is Avengers 48 1st appearance of Dane Whitman as the Black Knight. I was really worried about finding this thing at a good price since it was so expensive all of last year. But thanks to the reception of the Eternals Film and collectors moving onto the next thing, I was able to find this book on a dip - and I do think it is just that, a dip. Like I always say a book is only as expensive as it is relevant to pop culture - and right now since Kit Harrington isn't in a MCU property the book is going to be cheaper than it was a year ago, but as soon as we see him back on the screen (especially in uniform) this book will get hot once again - kind of like what we are seeing with books like X-men 4 and Fantastic Four 94. Have you guys been looking to buy books on the dip?

during Baltimore comic con 2018, I looked for avengers 48. saw one vendor that had it. looked through the whole convention floor and I got find another copy with another dealer. one dealer in that huge comic con only had avengers 48. luckily, he still had the book, when I went back to finally buy it. years after, I have not seen any other copies, throughout parts of country I been to, other than on ebay

thanks for the video! Always enjoy checking in to see your new content. I firmly believe that John Snow, I mean, Kit, will be in the MCU for quite some time. I have two slabbed #48's and plan on getting more.

Great feeling to hit dips. I noticed Cap and Falcon and Winter Soldier books went cold. Great get. I got one in a low grade on Live Auctioneers app auction for $150. I love Harrington as the actor for Dane Whitman too

I also feel that the corrections on Eternals books especially Dane Whitman books will probably be reversed. Marvel has shown that if they introduce a character or concept, they’ll likely follow up with them in a later film (Eternals 2, Blade etc, .). Everything is building to the next huge film. So I’m confident the Eternals and Dane Whitman have an important part to play in the MCU going forward. I honestly feel everything Spider-Man/ Spiderverse is probably stuff that will see lots of interest for many years to come post No Way Home.

I bought that black knight book 2 years ago for $18 but then I sold it before it got crazy. Needless to say I’m kicking myself now. 😫

I want to do this for ASM 129 that I still need but it’s not dipped much.

Congrats on the avengers book.
Sadly I had that issue that I bought in a collection of silver age avengers 10 years ago it was in high grade. I sold it for 15.00 laugh out loud😃.

Hi. On one of your speculations videos about Captain America 362, 1st full appearance of Crossbones. Wikipedia agrees with you and so do I. Found 2 at a lcs. Thank you for your video. Question about the gold lantern? What is his first full appearance in comics? DC fandom states Superman 14. I looked at a copy I had and is a big splash page. I see him but never see him say anything. Thank you for time.
