Ours is 40 ft long roof that roars like an appliance. With power off, it is clearly not appliance sound. We are in a hardwood forest. Sounds like additional screws with gaskets and securing the ridge vent may help. Thanks 😊

The sound seems to be from thermal expansion of the metal roof sheets, usually when the the change in sun radiation is at the extreme.

Doubt the sound is from the wind.

I had issues for a long time with a log cabin metal roof clanging in the wind. Nothing seems to work to fix it. I don't think it can be fixed without a new metal roof being put on the whole cabin :-(
