Topher si videos are what brought me to this channel. 5 years later a happy owner of 2 Hondas.

Cool car, but I'm still trying to figure out why some people in the community and some dealers treat this car as if it's an exclusive Porsche. Bro, is a civic 😅

Picked up mine last week. Coming from a 2014 5MT Nissan Versa the power difference is incredible. I've been really enjoying it! My only gripe is that I wish it had a hatch.

Dealership near me has this priced at $35k and another one has it priced at $45k with the R priced at $65k and not budging on the markup. Immediately went to an Acura dealership and got an A- spec Integra with the 6 speed for $4k under sticker effectively making it the same price as an Si at MSRP.

I’m a si fanatic but man they’ve had the same hp for nearly 20 years !!!! Of course we appreciate the added torque but man hopefully the next gen has more than 200 give us 225 at least don’t get me wrong I have a 2015 si it’s quick enough but wouldn’t hurt to have a few more ponies

I had the 22 si before the fl5. Glad to see they added heated seats and a full digital cluster now!

I was hoping for a power/engine refresh but Honda loves their cute little 1.5 liter

Bought mine at the end of September and ignoring the trash dealerships the car is fantastic. Handles amazing with decent power, the rev hang gets better as it learns your driving style (still could be better but it is what it is). The Eagle Sports they come with are trash and the brakes get soft quickly on track but literally everything else about the car is awesome. Couple small mods and it’s the perfect daily imo.

I love how many of car brands start using that red colour of 90s. Making it trend once again,
Feels so nostalgic

Considered the SI when purchasing my GLI. The GLI won. Although the SI will be more reliable (in the long run), the GLI feels more planted, less tinny (eco-box feeling), and interior more grown-up than the SI for my middle aged brain and body. Still you cant go wrong with the SI. Whatever floats your boat.

Thanks for the video. I got one less than 3 months ago, and it certainly is fun to drive. Only thing that has bothered me a bit is the wind noise above 60 mph, for the simple reason that my wife's Elantra which is a few years older is less noisy when it comes to wind noise . Other than that no complaints.

The fact that the civic hybrid is faster than the si now is gross. This car has had 200hp for decades. Sooo many better options in this price range(especially with the crazy markups).

I have really bad cold and watching Topher drive cars somewhat distracts me from the cold.

Pretty sweet car.
I am currently driving a 2021 FK8 but I could definitely see myself in one of these. In a perfect world I'd have a garage with both 😂

It's always good when TheTopher uploads

IDK why but opening the gas cap at 3:04 and saying "1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder" made me burst out laughing

Nice to see some color in a Honda interior, I’d love it even more if they got rid of the piano black surround on the honeycomb and replaced it with a leatherette of the same color as the door inserts.

I'd love to know why Hyundai can eliminate perceptible rev-hang in the Elentra, but Honda can't do better than this.

I love that gold pearl and gray combo.
