I know I can't earn my way to Christ, but after my giddy first falling in love with Jesus phase grew into a deeper, more committed love, He began asking me to change aspects of myself that effect my walk and mar how I represent Christ in an unbelieving world.. like smoking cigarettes, etc but as soon as I began hating that sin and started praying for the will to stop, it got even harder to. Then you start getting those doubt thoughts that run through your mind.. like.."haha the Lords hardened your heart like pharoah..you're not gonna be able to stop"..maybe not in those exact words but the guilt trips and accusations started with everything I have going on and really distract you from the light you're trying to spread into the world.. we are in a time where some separating is going on and i dont want to be left on the wrong side.. I moved to another state because I couldn't find a church like this one where I was and figured in a community of believers, id be stronger than in isolation but then started getting guilt trips of not trusting God where I was.. the devils attack on the believer is real and if youre not consistently pursuing God, you'll never make it through the next part. In today's world, you can't just do God in the free five minutes you have..
