Finding the Dodge Journey engine codes trick!

I haven't seen a video about this so I thought this may help some of you. There's a way to find some engine codes without a OBD11 code reader on dodge vehicles with a key fob, this shows you how to do it on a dodge vehicle with a push start button. This trick works on most dodge vehicles be it with a key or keyfob or push button start, just remember you just want the vehicle in the run position on the third turn but with the engine turned off. I have it on my caravan keyfob style but tried it on the push start cycling 3 times quickly and seen that it work for it aswell.

Our check engine light came one recently . I did the code check you recommended and both times it said done . Does that mean I still should get it scanned by reader or is there a way to get check engine light turned off on my own ?please

I got an error code when I got my oil changed and the engine light came on. Resetting it the normal way wasn't clearing it. I saw your video, tried it, got the "done" message, and the engine light went off 🤷‍♂️

Tried this and no error code displayed just a bunch of dots. Then said done after. Check engine light is still on. Are the dots the error code?
