I find putting some cuticle oil around the skin before doing this method also helps. Skin & nails aren't as dry after!

I'm going to try this! I like to paint my ladies nails for her and I watch your videos for all the help I can get! Lol. She seems impressed so far, so your tips must be working. Thanks!

Thanks for the 101 videos. I feel like I missed a lot of proper nail care tips since I've been a nail biter for so many years. I think my nails have only been nice since July, and long enough for art just recently. I'm grateful for all wisdom that helps my nails to be strong and healthy.

I tried this method this morning. It worked GREAT! I left the cotton patches on each nail for 3 minutes. Perfect! Thanks for the tip!!

Great tip!! I usually use the "dip it jars" from target or CVS. The one with the sponge for creams and the one with the bristles for glitter, but I add olive oil or vitamin e oil (99 cent store) so it's not so drying on my nails! Tfs

I have a lil trick. To remove the red stain from my nails after red polish removal..I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser..works like a charm:)

I just about died when you rubbed the Black nail polish into your cuticles & skin on purpose, for the video 😭😭😭 LOL *tysm for your sacrifice* 🙏 ;)

I pretty much do exactly the same as you, except I use 'Soak & swipe manicure clips' on top of the cotton (in case anyone's wondering - mine are from Bliss kiss but you can get them on Amazon etc) they help trap a bit of body heat so I LOVE them for glitter polish too!

I use dollarstore cotton pads/rounds & cut them into 5/6 pieces - you only need a little bit per nail!

I can't believe I used to use those removal jars where you shove you polished nails into the sponge & twist?!! 🤣 I used to end up with polish over me!! 💕

Thank you for that tip, Kelli! I have tried doing that same thing before, and even after letting it sit a long time, some polishes are still difficult to remove! I use the Cuccio base coat (you recommended that, and thank you because it's SO much better than the drugstore ones!) and the 7 second reactive top coat. I don't have a uv light, so I go hold my hands up to the sun-it works! I'm still occasionally having the issue I mentioned a while back, where the ENTIRE thing (base, color, topcoat) comes off my nails in 1 whole piece that looks like a press-on nail. I don't know why on earth that happens- but it seems when that doesn't happen, I cannot get the polish off without a fight no matter how long I wrap the nails. I'm feeling like a freak LOL! I am sorry that I ramble, but one more thing and that is: speaking of cuticle cuts... My hands have been excessively dry the last few days, and it's the worst around my fingernails. I have some diy cuticle oil- basically coconut oil, olive oil, and lemon juice. So... I didn't realize that some of the skin had actually cracked, but I sure learned in a hurry! No lie, the lemon juice stung worse than nail polish remover! So it's another situation I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place, because if I use the oil, it'll sting again, but if I don't, the skin will keep cracking. I've tried other things but that mix is the only thing my dry hands and nails like! I have had 4 hours of sleep in the last 4 days (I have sleeping disorders) & I am not even sure what all I just wrote! 🤷😸❤️❤️❤️

What a great idea! I never wanted to do the soak off method because of all the foil waste.

What kind of magic is this?! Using this method from now on. So efficient! ❤

I do this same thing. It started as a glitter removal thing with the foil. I just don’t even bother with the foil when I’m just removing regular polish. Btw, if you put some Vaseline (or similar product) on a cut before using the remover it doesn’t sting as much. Cuticle oil works too, but the thicker stuff like Vaseline is more effective I think.

if you already enjoy photography, go for it!!! I've been a photographer for more than half my life now, my grandma bought me my first pro camera at 15. the more you learn, the more fun it becomes! it's also a great way to relieve some stress & anxiety for me.

I definitely going to start using this method, it's much better than what I'm currently doing. Great video Kelli ♡

I do your removal method. I've been doing it for about a year and I would never go back. I find that it actually takes less time to get the polish off which allows more time for the fun part; the actual painting of the nails.
