I love Bondi Rescue and I appreciate them so much. Just playing Devil’s Advocate here but I’m sure it’s almost impossible to hear them from the water or know they are talking to you. But I do get frustrated when they tell the same ppl over and over again to swim between the flags. Can’t imagine how much patience it takes to do what they do. Let alone the bravery and strength. 💗

These lifeguards are amazing and tolerant with nuts on the beach. They have such patience, I don’t deal will with deliberately stupid people. It’s almost like he wanted to get his minute of fame ‘on camera’ maybe for his friends to see. Fool.

They're not just average Joe's employed to lifeguard some of the lifeguards there are ex pro surfers they're locals they've been at Bondi a long time and know the conditions better than most or anyone I'd say it's better just to listen to them if you do that and go out again and someone is seriously drowing and you've already been saved and warned to not put yourself in that situation and u intentionally just go back out yea it would be frustrating..

My friends would make fun of me because I would always sit on the beach and study the waves for about 15-20 minutes before grabbing my surfboard and going in. This show is exactly why I do that. The ocean is a dangerous place. Never take your eyes off her, never turn your back on her.

I wonder how effective the megaphone is for people way out there? I can't imagine picking up what's being said is particularly easy with your sight line going under wave crests constantly.

NEVER would I ignore a lifeguard. Doesn’t matter who you are how good a swimmer or surfer you are, they are the experts. If they tell you not to go in it’s in their professional experience. People who ignore a lifeguard then get caught out there should be fined. That lifeguard is then putting his/her life on the line to get you to safety
