Tips for buying a miter saw, which size and brands to buy

This video shows the major differences between 3 different size miter saws, the 7", 10"& 12" When buying a miter saw you want to consider what you will be using it for. Each saw can cut different lengths and depths in material. Another good thing to consider is how much you will be moving the saw, the bigger the saw the more it weights and the more space it takes up. The costs of saw blades is also worth considering, the smaller the blade the cheaper it is. The nice thing about 10" saw blades they are often able to be used on table saws as well so you can change them out as needed. My personal preference is a 10" miter saw as it can do nearly everything a 12" does but its lighter, takes up less space and the blades are cheaper.
