I like to think of it as comparing Cars and Bikes (over 250g and under 250g). Car's need to be registered, have to drive on roads, speed limits, etc. No registration for bikes and they can drive close to people.

I live in Manitoba within 5 miles from the local airport. I plan on flying a Mini 2. There is a red zone (close) and a pink zone a little farther out. What is the difference between the red and pink zones and can I fly at a low 30 meter altitude in the pink zone? Thanks

Canadian, Noob to drones here. Looking at the Map on the website for flying restricted areas, show most of Hamilton in reed, to me, meaning not able to fly there? Please clarify?
