By the way Jason describes the Rock as "thrice the height of the Hightower and the Wall", as lore describes it, the show surely retcons Casterly Rock from GoT season 7, as that castle can't possibly lay claim to such height. Good news in that case, as we have the possibility of being reintroduced to it in HoTD via the Lannister pov story in their war against the Ironborn.

Honestly I feel Jason would have been a decent enough husband for Rhaenyra once they worked their issues out. If Jason would understand Rhaenyra is her own person and tried focusing on his own achievements rather than boasting about what he has that would probably make her more interested. With the armies of the Lannisters, Tully, Starks and the Eyrie and the Greyjoys potentially invading the Reach instead that would make it an easy win for the Blacks.
