My single monitor desk setup for three different uses - PC gaming, Mac Studio with iPad Pro, and Nintendo Switch. I also explain why I didn't go for the Apple Studio Display and why I love this one!

I really like the simplicity of your setup. It’s absolutely clean and nice looking. Personally I opted for a Lenovo ThinkVision Creator Extreme which also has 27” @4k60Hz as well as plenty of Inputs, a KVM Switch and even certified VESA HDR1000 support. I did a lot of research to find it but I am really happy to own it now. I bought it used on eBay with Rest guarantee and saved a lot of money cause this thing can even cost more than the Studio Display. I even made a video about it showing it’s benefits and why I purchased it over the Studio Display. Using an additional HDMI 5 Port Switch I am now able to connect my Mac Studio, my Gaming Pc (which is a Mac Pro 5.1 running Win 11 😅), PS5, Switch, the WiiU and the Xbox Series X. I route every console as well as the Mac Pro through the HDMI Switch to my Elgato HD60S+ and than to one of the two HDMI ports, using the second one for the Mac Studio. I am now able to play, capture and stream all those devices using the Mac Studio and OBS Studio which is natively supported since the end of 2022 and it works fine for me since I started streaming in July 2022. I really just need to switch the input of the display between HDMI 1 and 2 and use the remote of the HDMI Switch to connect the right gaming device.

Right on! The lack of flexibility for inputs is what is keeping me from getting the studio display. I am fully invested into the apple ecosystem with an iPad Pro, M1 Mac mini and a Switch with the LG 34UM69G-B 34. Thinking of upgrading to the LG 5k 2k which I heard allows for slit screen multiple inputs.

Nice new video dude! I currently am using a Ben Q Monitor and I’m in love with it but I need to buy a new monitor arm 😅. Really love your setup up, it pops up all the time on my Instagram Feed lol.

Im gonna do this with Windows 10 and Tab S8 Ultra. Second Screen is fantastic, and so is DEX. Having the Tab S8 Ultra Vertical Second screen is just perfect. Feels like it was made for this. Oh, and its also become my backup Webcam.

having a mouse & keyboard with different Bluetooth profiles is probably so helpful!!! love that. I currently just have the mac stuff and I use it with my PC but I plug it in to make it work with my pc

I got the Samsung 49’ super ultra wide i use it as 2 27’ monitors side by side I’m used to having 2 monitors i just don’t like the extra wires all over the place but i still have that for other reasons but for now it works

really dig the setup, using the same monitor! are you using it scaled by any chance? The only thing I find kind of annoying is that when scaling it sometimes causes lag, as the gpu is working extra hard. I think its a MacOS issue though.
