6s is still really good phone only problem is battery life

I had to use my old 6s Plus for a while back in September. It did everything I needed, it ran hot and lagged at times but still takes good photos and video during the day and is totally still useable for a daily driver.

Why not? From my experience, 99.9% of Apple store apps will still support the same IOS version after three years.

Iphone 6S is still one the best iphones ever. only issue is its battery life which i finally changed after 3 1/2 years. But im retiring her finally for the iphone 11. It’s sad but it’s time for an upgrade :’))

I had the OG SE for a few years then upgraded to the 11. Only thing that sucked and why I went to a newer phone is because of the battery. I have had my 11 for about a year so it’s cool.

My iPhone SE 2016 runs very good on iOS 15.2. The battery live was not good, I got a new, bigger battery.

don’t listen to this guy the 6s is perfectly good option in 2022 it’s still fast a fast phone plus even if it doesn’t get iOS 16, apps will still support it for at least 3 years some even longer and on top of that you’ll get iOS 15 security updates like they did for the 5s and 6 still on iOS 12 they just got an update for iOS 12 a couple months ago. So the 6s will be a good phone for a long time still.

So if the 6S came out in 2015, if you’re still using it now, why not get a new iPhone from Apple that won’t have cosmetic damage, degraded batteries, and will have longer longevity than phones like the 7 or 8 that are overpriced for what you can get now in phones for the same price? 2017 and 2018 hardware in the 7 and 8, X, XS etc. is still 2017 and 2018 hardware. The SE 2020 and 11 are better value phones for multiple reasons.

Yes 6s Plus below are no more worth it, since it has only 1GB of RAM dont be surprised when you play high end games and it crashes everytime

People really don't need to upgrade every year, Apple phones have long longevity. You'd only need to upgrade if you're using intensive tasks but otherwise these phones for regular browsing is more than enough.
