Like most tourists videos, there is a strong emphasis on visiting sites in Antigua and not Barbuda. Barbuda’s beaches are far more spectacular than Antigua’s. There is a robust history as well. During colonial times, in addition building a farming community which created commerce between neighboring islands, their enslaved African populations were bred as well for trade. We have Access Beach (aka Princess Diana Beach), Martello Tower, Two Foot Bay, Codrington Village, Uncle Roddy’s, Two Foot Bay caves, pink sand beaches, Darby Sinkhole, Highland house ruins, an abundance of wildlife walking on the main road (donkeys, horses, goats, sheep, cows as big as bisons, wild pigs, deers to name a few), pelicans diving for fish at River Beach, and shipwrecks on the eastern side of the island. If you want to experience a natural island without massive crowds, noise and drunkenness, Barbuda is a the perfect destination.
