Is this a deleted episode of Black Mirror?

This kind of life will not release people from work but will bury them more deeply. Every time, people tried to increase the efficiency through tech innovation, they would end up finding that they got attached to more work.

I am more impressed how the technology has converted her BLACK coffee in a take away cup ( 1 minute 21 seconds ) to a white frothy coffee in a normal cup ( 1 minute and 44 seconds ) . This is truly the future.

Its amazing to think where our technology is headed. I'm part scared and part thrilled!

I have to say that this looks like an absolutely exhausting way of working. Appreciate that the video is compressed for impact, but it appears on the face of it to be very intrusive.

Great video to show friends about what AR-enabled life would be like as I've struggled for years to get the concept across. I agree with previous commenters that this is far too intrusive for my personal liking, but conceptually a great demo.

What is great to see is that technology is finally getting to the point that we can start really thinking about the practical aspects of this sort of lifestyle. 20+ years ago when i started in the industry it really wasn't there, but now with equipment in the VR space getting to consumer pricepoints and MS driving AR down to near consumer levels with Hololens, 2030 seems like being pessimistic about having this level of interactivity.

In the year 2100? Maybe. In 2030? I'll be happy if our VR goggles will finally have a high enough resolution to no longer see pixels... but even that kinda is a far stretch, which is sad :/

It reads 9 August 2030 on Tuesday (see 0:25)! What will happen between now and then? As far as we know know it supposed to be on Friday

This is a very beautiful video! The biggest pleasure for me is being able to use your virtual laptop anywhere you are and you don't have to bring the heavy ones constently😅

7 years later I think we are almost here you can see a lot of companies working hard to make real, but this also reminds me of many episodes of black mirror. slightly excited and very nervous as a bleeding edge tech guy that's saying something.

Generally cool for me - but unrealistic at @0:53. Come on - ONE message? I'd love to see that interface make me do morning sports program by just pointing, waving and swiping away ALL of my new messages...
Some additional thoughts:
@1:30 I love how she speaks "may be later" in the room - which of course is a quiet zone. One thing we need to understand is, that there always needs to be more than one interface and it needs to be adapting to the outer requirements.
@1:41 how come they still have screens when seemingly everyone has that sneaky optical interface. (We know they have because even the coffee man without glasses has reacted to the tip!)
@1:46 I hope this is not the future. Typing like that would require some better feedback than just hitting the table. Please be more creative in that interface style!
@1:50 What does she need the "autotranslator" for? She seems to speak french rater well later on. Also the translator only translates a document but not the live meeting? What kind of retro tech is this? :-)
@1:56 I am a big fan of retro - but this isn't even the way to sign digital documents today. Please don't bring that back - simulate writing without a pen on a non existing paper is awful...

Sorry for my late comment - I just realized how old this video is. :-)
