So many "girl rockers" after and still no one as badass as Alanis

Dear Generation in 2021, moving and jumping around in the stage was how they breathed on the stage with fans who didn't have smartphones or SNS that clings all the time. It never meant to annoy or show off. That was' the communication '. Thank you for your understanding.

With love and respect.
Old generation man.

Her voice seemed to mimic Dolores ORiordan from Cranberries... Kinda?

She is one of OG of female rockers. I think this is where Avril Lavigne kinda got her influence from, Alanis and Avril, just like how Taylor Swift is to Shania Twain.

Censored. . damn shame. Brother doesn't think you deserve the truth. . . or maybe you're just to fragile

There’s no edge in this performance. And the studio version and most of her live versions are all edge. Alanis can do a lot better than this totally deadbeat excuse. She tries to find other voices. This woman can really sing. Her tone is unmistakable. And she can reach over four octaves. She’s probably got perfect pitch. Please check out her performance in 2015 by googling: “you learn good morning America.“ We find an edgier rendition of “you ought to know” by googling: “Alanis Morissette busking Rockefeller Center.“ (The censorship heavily damages this video. We have all heard those words and we will lose nothing by hearing them again, especially in this context.)

The bass line is to short as the original one. That's deinflate the song. Also the drums doesn't sound as big sounds a Ayotte. Maybe the mix... She needs to follow the rules of her for co-Patriots:

Rush 40 the same arrangement with better and bigger sound that's the formula

would be cool if she’d dance more instead of just walking around

For some reason I failed to realize that she was feeling during this performance, some parts she seemed off tune, she was lazy with the song, the way she walked up and down the stage like she was exhausted, trying to catch her breath at certain parts and dogging certain notes. With that being said I hope she gotten alot of rest after that performance cuz she really needed some vocal rest and to relax her body.

Why is she walking back and forth the entire song wow! how annoying to watch I would have yelled it out to her if I was there " HEY STOP WALKING BACK & FORTH FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING THAT IS HOLY ATLANTIS!!!" Gawd! So annoying! ....but she performed flawlessly singing wise!
