The discoloration is called “ Patina “.

At times people don't notice issues with shoes because they have several pairs to choose from their collection. Those who notice things are those with like less than 10 pairs...😊 if you can afford hv shoes for different occasions.

Creasing is good, it gives the shoe character 😎

Im subbed to your channel for the bag reviews and randomly saw this video suggested to me after watching rose anvils thursday sneaker review. Thank you so much for the tip to take out the insoles. I've had greats royales that were made in italy for years and i always found them uncomfortable or "it still needs time to break in" so I just never wore them. After taking out the insole theyre extremely comfortable for me. I think the soles increase the heel by a few mm's and it felt like my feet were constantly slipping forward on the leather. Like putting on sandals with wet feet.

Thanks again for the tip!

I have had my white ones for a little over a year but wore them maybe 70% of that time. You can see the square pattern on the bottom so they are more worn than even your 3 year pair. All of the sole stitching has held up well but some stitches have broken at the ankle on both sides where the inner and outer leather meet. I removed the insoles for the first time and it looks like the fiberboard underneath is detaching from the sole. I saw somewhere that the lasting board is supposed to be leather but I guess that's not true for all colors. With that said, they have been very comfortable throughout their lifetime and I already ordered another pair to replace them

This video is very helpful with my decision to purchase a pair.

Buy a shoe horn, use shoe trees, and use a simple leather conditioner.

Mine are taking forever to break in, but I have no complaints on craftsmanship so far

All you need is some leather care on your 3 years old pair! Condition it and apply some brown cream polish to get rid of the scuffs

They do made wide sizes as well in their shoes. On the product page you can select EE wide

Love the chinos pair with the shoes at 1:42. Where did you get them? Thanks!

I’ve seen so many good reviews on Thursday shoes. So I was surprised in my experience. I’ve gone through so many videos and everyone is sharing excellent experiences with Thursday. My experience was trash. I received two pairs with problems with the left sneaker. One came creased where the foot bends and the other came with an unglued cup sole. Thursday told me both were merely cosmetic issues. Hey the car is scratched and ugly but the motor goes vroom vroom.

Great review! I have their boots but never really got into their sneakers. Now I will purchase a pair when I need a new pair of sneakers seeing that they last as long as their boots and age very well.

Thanks for the review! How is the heel cushioning on these? Trying to avoid sneakers that feel like I'm walking directly on concrete.

Some cedar shoe trees and leather polish can keep them looking way better for far longer time than just 3 years.

Great video, out of interest how much walking are you doing in them? Assume not much commuting etc.. it's crazy how well the sole has lasted.

How much of the "cushioning" is gone, do you think (maybe by percentage)? I have plantar fasciitis so I need a fair amount of cushioning. Thank you.

My main concern was, is the life of the outsole. Can these be resoled?

lol I have the dark brown ones my soles worn out a lot in about 1 year (it's almost gone through the sole in some spots), I don't think mine can last for 3 years, the upper remains almost brand new though (I do polish and condition them all the time); on the other hand their boots sole looks almost brand new in one year
