A tip on these for people who work in an apartment building as maintenance. Once you have one apart, write down the p/n for the lighting strip, flame turning motor, heating element, and fan motors. They are often available online even if a company stopped making them, a lot of these fireplaces have interchangeable parts on multiple makes and models, so the individual parts can be available and having these numbers on hand keeps you from pulling them apart just to get the numbers.

Overall, This is a good looking product. It works as advertised. My only issue is when i put my finger on the front glass switch, It doesn't come on. I have to use the remote.

Most of the parts for these basic electric fireplaces are used across the majority of name brands and budget brands, regardless of unit size. The budget brands are all nearly identical inside with 100% shared components. Simply take the defective components to your supplier in order to obtain new parts to service the remaining stock in the complex.

Why not check the resistance across the motor coil to determine if that is actually the problem? or read voltages at the motor when the control board is calling for heat to see if the switching components on the board are dead?

My cadet electric wall heater was working just fine. All out of the blue it just started blowing cold air. The fan blows. Tested thermostat and works. Kicks in when i set it at warmer temp but just blows cold. I hit reset button, didn’t work, i reset the circuit breaker, no change. Is there a way to fix it or do i have to go buy a new one?

Mine works for about a minute and then goes off then it makes a click sound then works, also fire goes backwards sometimes lol… id love a real fire but the home I have has no chimney ☹️

All I did was take back panel off and blew dust out with compressor and air gun works like new no codes

Mine for some reason the heater is on but it’s not warming up the room and I have it set on 72
