i think brands have recently changed their focus to revist where they are in the hiarchy of price and how theyre viewed. Omega did when they truied to keep up with rolex in marketing/price, tudor and Longines stepped into the vacant space and brands like JLC i think wanted to re-assert that theyre better or higher than rolex and thus raised their prices. The reverso Duoface had a similar RRP as a Datejust/explorer so I can understand JLC thinking they had underplayed themselves and sold themselves short. i agree that they should have at least given us something more, even a new box or strap/clasp but this is the way of the world now. i like fragrances and cigars, both have seen similar rises for certain brands as they effectively fill out the various budgets (especially as most of them are owned by large conglomerates anyway)

Yes, it’s overpriced. I can get a used 36mm solid gold day date for much less than 2024 JLC reverso tribute, and that doesn’t make sense.
