Kia EV9 Review | The perfect 7-Seater Family SUV | Ireland | 4k

The Kia EV9 has stirred a huge amount of interest in recent weeks and months as it's a family SUV with seven seats that is fully electric! There are very few cars that fit into this category, never mind that the EV9 is somewhat of a style icon.

It's big box shape not only looks excellent, but it allows the South Korean car manufacturer to really maximise space on the inside. It also comes with a plethora driving aids and high tech features. From driver monitoring systems, to an excellent 360 camera, it really makes driving the EV9 that bit easier.

Prices start at €77,500 for the RWD "Earth" version and a touch over €85,000 for the GT-Line which comes with two electric motors and 380hp. Both have a range of over 500km from the 95kWh battery.

It's not even the width but try parking that in your average car park space.

The car is over 5 m long btw,

You really would have to park as far as possible from the other cars, otherwise prepare for the car getting constant scratches, scuffs, dings, marks etc.

Which you can obviously afford if you have this car.

I notice that with all these reviews of EV cars never put in the real costs of charging and comparison with diesel and patrol EV are more expensive to run

If the AWD version had another 50KM of range it would be "perfect". The AWD configuration takes away too much range. Who buys an SUV that's not AWD? AWD should have had more battery.
