Does your table saw fence need some love? Check out how I made this fence caddy to hold all of my most commonly used items at the saw. I'm pumped to get this checked off my list as it has been an issue forever!

Hahaha I love how perfectly timed your videos seem to be for my planned purchases. First, I was finally considering purchasing a good reliable (accurate fence) TableSaw. Then just a week or so earlier you’d posted your Laguna vs. Sawstop review, update, commentary thing. Which I loved and ultimately also went with the F2 just 2 weeks or so later! And have been wicked happy with it!

Now, you make a video that includes some good (accurate but not outrageously expensive) setup blocks! When not just 4 hours earlier I’d finally pulled the trigger on a set from Amazon that ironically cost near the exact same amount plus or minus a few cents. But I love the case these come in WAAAY more. Haha so I bought these now and will return the ones I went with.

Thanks again. Always love the things you do. Would love to see a follow-up Laguna saw review one of these days.

I don’t even get out to my ‘shop’ often (maybe once a month at best) but I still watch every video!

That Magswitch at the end of that apparatus is genius. I’ve even caught my bees Meyer fence slipping a time or two. ( I don’t think that’s how you spell that)

You got some thing going on.
Been doing factory work since 1988 and the 5S Kaisen type process is prevalent in my mind. You’re doing an excellent job because I’ve been watching it for the past three days

I in no way traveling to Ohio to visit you. Unless it’s for a concert of red wanting blue.

This is pretty sweet. You mentioned not wanting make a permanent spot for the mag stop for convenience, but you could get the best of both worlds. Just add a section on the far side that has a slot that normally catches on the yellow wings, but when you twist it, it drops into place. This will make it so that it doesn't drag on the table, but it can be set with just two quick twists. With a 3d printer and a heavy fill, you should be able to make something sturdy and precise enough that it won't wobble fairly easily.

Yet another AWESOME video on an AWESOME idea! Love your creativity and the humor. I will be making one of these, soon, for my table saw, but I'm also going to implement a space for something you left out. Not sure if you did it on purpose, don't use them, or just forgot about them but, I noticed you didn't put a spot for featherboards.

Mag switch for the win👌🏼 Use PLA for prints? Would love another video on your 3D printers and how you run them

Really cool upgrade, Travis~! I must've seen/imagined it wrong from the beginning, but if you swapped the positions of the 1-2-3 block and the mag switch (or similar design mod) and made a caddy for the mag switch, you could activate it from it's "stored location" clearance hole to make contact with
Thanks for sharing this one~!!

Great idea here. I have the same laguna saw and took my push stick clips off a while back as well as the clear wings of the dust collection over mount in anticipation of it being easier to use if I do choose to implement that. Keep the vids a coming. Cheers

The Magswitch feature is great and I've never seen it before. Good idea!

I have the same saw as you do, but my fence doesn't flex like your's does. My F2 is new and has a few upgrades that you don't have. One major one is a built in digital tilt gauge.

Very nice! I took a bit different approach to storage and still workable fence as I integrated a router table fence. Very nice design!

That's a pretty neat caddy! I think this will be the saw I'll be dreaming of until I'm at a level, if ever, at which I can justify something like it. At least I already have the Magswitch, since I bought a couple of them at a sale some time ago. 😏😉 I know it's not nice to have to do it to a brand-new product, but I think the overhead dust collection could probably be improved quite a bit by replacing the flexible hose with straight pipe wherever possible, since those ribbed hoses really have quite an effect on the speed of the air moving through the system.

interesting, i like the idea, may make a similar one but add some sleeved holes even with the face to make sacrificial fences easier to do, just put a few small screws through a metal reinforced holes and good to go
