I work at a funeral home and we have a goldfish pond - it seemed one morning that a possum or something had gotten to our fish, and two of our wee friends were terribly hurt. They were not going to be able to be saved (I couldn't believe they were still alive) and learning about humane clove euthanasia from you helped me put my friends to sleep so they didn't have to suffer anymore. Remember, like 99% of them in the wild would die as well, which is why most fish have hundreds to thousands of offspring in a single spawning.

Also, you can bet that their deaths through humane use of clove oil is leagues better than any death they would experience in the wild.

The bad deformed ones wouldn’t live a good life and using clove oil doesn’t hurt them it just makes them really sleepy and then they die it’s actually pretty humane compared to other ways

Think, he could have just as easily just drained the water from the bad batch and then buried them alive, but he culled them in a way so that they could peacefully go to sleep before passing. That small thing to wait for a couple more minutes after a long day of sorting, it is a lot for the little fishies. ❤️
