Uhm he’s talking about $5 Indians. Dawes Rolls, and he’s 1000% correct. White men paying to be tribal or minutely Native only to be White men everywhere else but the bank and tribal lands. It’s duplicitous and he’s 1000% right

I know what he means... I've had ppl assume that I'm Hispanic for most of my life and, on occasion, take offense to me, correcting their mistake.
One of my all-time fave responses to my correction is: "You're not Spanish? You should be."

I've spent time on and near reservations my entire life. American Indians in fact look like Indians and they're proud of their heritage. Nothing racist in the remarks.

Did he not say, they dont look like Indians to Indians? He had to get his view reinforced from somewhere to have a based opinion.
