My ideal starting pistol would be the good old Mk 23 because of the vlusdfull silence and not having to worry too much about obscene prices and maintenance. Also role play element would be rather fun but that's just an added bonus

Since this doesnt really narrow down most people’s search i recommend the asg cz p09. Its super cheap for a gas blowback at around $80-90. Its fairly consistent with its shots and has lasted me a long time with no issues. It has a polymer construction with metal internals. This is just my recommendation if you are starting on a budget.

I have a WETech Makarov PMM that was my starter, and it's always been a head turner. Solid full metal construction, really good blow back system. Bought it used for $100 and it's been the best gun I've had. Extremely reliable, and i did a free mod to make it an extremely fast automatic ;)
