Thanks for showing tree monitors so much love brother! They truly are such intelligent and entertaining lizards to keep! Sabzi and Basil say hi 🦎🦎!

I admire your restraint for not just going "hey look at my dart frogs" and cutting to a minute of footage of said frogs after pointing out how you didn't include any amphibians.

I thought the intro was quite hilarious!! If I ever was to get a monitor, I would have to vote for the Ackie as well. It's unfortunate you didn't ruin it with an amphibian 😂

PREDICTION BEFORE WATCHING: He is going to pick a tegu even though they aren’t monitors.

Edit: You surprised me Adam. You win this time 🥇

Kennan's new enclosure for Slinky is absolutely awesome. It also looks like it cost $30, 000 to build. Asian water monitors are no joke to keep.

I've been watching your channel as well as a couple others- Brian Barczyk and Kevin at NERD for several months now and have learned so much! It's amazing to see how much personality these animals have! I guess I always considered these animals to steer clear of but can see they can make great pets!

I have a WC savannah monitor, that I raised from a baby, and he is super sweet. He loves being held, cuddled and enjoys going out in his purple dog stroller.

Surprised you left quince monitors off the list, they’re like asian water monitors who stay small and super athletic are super easy to socialize and fun to watch!

They had baby Ackies at the shop when I got my tegu. I made the right decision, Jub-Jub is awesome, but it was a really tough choice between the two at the time - Ackies are awesome!. BTW, I love the name Susan for your Ackie. Very cute!

Some monitors look like they want to tear you to pieces and others look like they want you to make fart noises into their bellies

Sally is adorable! That yellow is something you would see in a collared lizard or uromastyx, I bet she’s a sweetheart! Great video 👍

As an Australian the correct pronunciation for the Pilbara is “pill-bra” almost like the first “a” is silent .

Savanna monitors can be great under the right circumstances! I am personally in love with my Argus Monitor though. He is so intelligent and exciting to work with. Definitely the perfect Monitor for me. He is a challenge and probably not good for most beginners especially if you plan on pushing the envelope because bites will happen. I got him pretty damn tame though and have him coming to a dog whistle.🤔 I can’t wait to see how trainable he really is!
