My take away today was.. Some are still on spiritual milk and not quite ready for more meaty Word. I have to remember to meet people where they are in their walk and encourage them, even challenge them but let God do the heart work. Thats not my job. We just need to keep scattering the Seed. Some will plant and some will water 💦 but GOD is the One that causes growth🥰 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all!🙏🏾🙌🏽

The Bible Recap, all year long, has emphasized the presence of Christ throughout Scripture in the past, present and future. Thank you, TLC, for confirming Our Lord’s constant presence in the past, present and future of our own lives.

What an imperative reminder in these chapters. It’s so easy to fall into a category of following this leader or that leader. Whether the leaders are pure, holy, righteous, and sanctified or not, it doesn’t give us permission to put them on pedestals and give them credit for our redemption or testimony. All of that belongs to God. He initiates, He fulfills, He sustains. I know there have been seasons where I’ve given credit to an author or a speaker for just opening my eyes to remembering Him, but that human was just an instrument or a tool being used by God Himself.

I love the reminder that the more we are in the Word, the more we invite the Spirit in and communicate with Him, the more wisdom He will impart on us. It makes it so much more clear that those who are living for the world, who have never taken the time to know Truth, they’re confused and lost. We look like fools and crazy people because they don’t understand that this life isn’t about us and our wants, but it’s about glorifying God, admitting our sin, and living right for Him so we can spend eternity with our creator in Heaven, the way He described.

I have been saying it day after day that new things keep jumping out at me, making more sense and becoming more clear even though it’s passages and chapters I’ve read several times or even done full on studies of. The more I grow and invite the spirit to teach me rather than just read it on my own accord, the greater He reveals himself to me. I’ll be honest. Sometimes I feel so silly or dorky repeating the same thing every day about giving me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, let me learn something new, correct the lies or misunderstandings I have, and help me to love others more and not puff myself up. I can’t tell you how many times I want to skip over it or reword it because it feels memorized and scripted, but regardless of the feeling of it being scripted, it’s still the truth and a huge heart plea. By praying it and asking these things each day, He has been more present than ever before and I’m so grateful for that.

I also resonate with TLC’s description of righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Past, present, future. It’s all handled by Jesus. It’s important to reflect on all those things and see where His hand has been the active agent in my life. I share these things with my husband and he always tells me that I don’t give myself or other people in my story the amount of credit we/they deserve and we need to put ourselves first. My response is always the same- they don’t deserve any credit and neither do I. It’s all God’s. He gets the glory, He gets the credit. He gets my first fruits. I continue to pray that he will stop searching for the things of this world to satisfy his heart and that he will proclaim the name of Jesus.

There’s really so much more that my heart is dwelling on in today’s reading. I’m so grateful for this community. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving… now let’s prepare the way for the season of our Savior’s birth! Help me to help my 12 and 9 year old keep the faith alive that this season is ALL about Jesus when everyone around us sees just the Hallmark.

Aloha, praise the Lord, and Happy Thanksgiving BR family. Father especially thankful for the BR Plan. This is the first time that I have been motivated to read, share and a better understanding His words. 1:31, God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanitation, and redemption. 1 Chronicles 16:34, "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever". He knows my past, present, and future and I am glad. He is where the JOY is!!!

Today's reading was an eye opener for me and I found comfort in "He's got me always - past, present and future" He has never been, not there, It was me that moved away from Him 🌸 Thank You Spirit for teaching me and thank You Jesus for always being with me, I love You too, Amen 🙏

Thank you, Tara Leigh! My dad died Saturday and I’ve been pretty sad. Then today you said the 3 things: righteousness, sanctification and redemption—and I realized my little daddy has been redeemed! I know he is so happy ! Thank you!

It is like being beaten with a flower that smells good. Paul’s rebuke brings wisdom and life. A place to repent and enter into additional freedom. A place that breaks chains and sets captives free.

In 1 Corinthians 3:6 Paul writes, ”I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.“ Every person needs God’s word planted in their heart and every person needs that seed to be watered. God uses us, His followers, to plant and water those seeds, in effect giving back what has been given to us. This is done one seed, one person, at a time. Much care is given to the planting, nurturing, and growing. This to me shows us how much God cares for each one of us, how God cares for the individual. It explains why God would leave the 99 for the one and how God gave everything, His only Son, for my and your salvation. I just can’t love and appreciate Him enough.

1Cor 2:7 says that God has revealed His mysterious plan from before the world began. TLC has walked us through God’s progressive revelation of Himself (and she does this comprehensively in her study “He’s Where the Joy Is, ” on the Trinity). We see that God’s plan was to make us the temple, with Christ the Cornerstone—unified as blocks fit together in a stone foundation.
