what happened to the dual receive unit from Oricom that you installed, they also have black antenna's? Also high gain, flat transmission pattern, low gain more omni-directional pattern of transmission, that's the difference, not obstacles.

great big thick black stick to look thru from the cab, not for me ....4.5dB wire whips are what I sold and fitted for years and work great, and only fit a 6dB if operating in flat country as was mentioned sayin....
