I dont normally comment but you saved me from having to go to dealer! 2023 Jeep Gladiator, uconnect was recognizing and charging my phone but carplay wouldnt initiate. Hit and held the browse and power button like you said (browse slightly before the power button) while in accessory and it soft reset, now carplay works again!

Thanks so much for this reset tip. The GPS had me 30 miles from my whatever location I was sitting. Did the reset. Turned off my Cherokee for 10 plus minutes and back to normal. I will be doing a U-Connect update too!

Thanks for this great info! The volumn on my 2021 Jeep Cherokee TrailHawk stopped working this morning.. My partner figured out how to reset the system by holding down just the on/off volume button for ten seconds to reset, presto got volume again! Reading the owners radio manual helped!😎😉
