There may be a simple explanation for the green star. Simply put, ancient civilizations had no word for blue. Greeks Egyptians and Roman's all described blue as green or brown in color.

Are we sure they said green? I know of plenty of cultures that simply didn't have a word for blue. Like blackfoot the word ótssko means both green and blue. And the ancient Greek referred to plenty of things blue as a deep wine color. Even Japanese had similar words for blue and green for awhile.

Quite recently, In a somewhat drunken stupor, I left a quite immature message about the impossibility of interstellar travel. You had the courtesy of replying to that.

Just pointing out the obvious : Your channel and content, and that of Event Horizon is beyond amazing. It is a treasure trove of astrophysical information that will be cherished for decades and probably beyond that. It's the natural evolution of John Baez's This Weeks Finds (if that means anything to you) and much more than that. Thanks for all the energy you put into it!

I still think actual interstellar travel will be quite difficult to achieve in practice, but I do realize it is just a not so well informed opinion of an uneducated person.

I still can't figure out how they determine there's not enough dark matter in a galaxy when they don't exactly know what dark matter is! Checking the accuracy of your models does seem to be a good idea.
